The FIRST CLASS features a single INTEGRAL occlusal plane. They differ in that they are less invasive (LOW FLANGES), and therefore more comfortable, they are not indicated for a type of specifically orthopedic treatment of the Cranio-Cervical-Mandibular system.

The new AMCOP DTM Bio Activators have been designed more specifically for the treatment of patients who present TMJ dysfunctions and/or neuromuscular tension decompensations (bruxism). They can also be used for the containment phase after the use of the Integral orthopedic activator and after the use of other fixed devices and aligner masks.

The DTM devices were also created taking into account the different skeletal classes, therefore they have the same arch shape characteristics as the existing ones, but are more comfortable as they are less invasive by virtue of the smaller buccal and lingual flanges.
In correspondence with the vestibular flanges in the first molar area there are always two small reliefs suitable for measuring the device. There is also a relief in the palatine spot area that is less accentuated than with orthopedic bioactivators, useful for performing speech therapy exercises aimed at improving the posture of the tongue when atypical swallowing is present.

FIRST CLASS DEVICES

The FIRST-CLASS devices were created with four types of arch shape and a linear occlusal plane with a slight curve of Spee and five sizes for each one as well as for the existing ones, from number 1 with 4.5 cm transverse measurement to number 5 measuring 6.5 cm. The devices have two abbreviations, the first is located in the front right area of the lower flange with the abbreviation and number of the device, while on the left side there is the abbreviation DTM (Temporomandibular Dysfunction).

MEASURES

They are signed with the letter ØS and numbered from 1 to 5, with a red base.

The size of the activator is taken from the distance that separates the vestibular cusps of the upper sixths.
